Christian singer/songwriter Jason Watson is no stranger to the sounds of praise and worship – as the youngest of three children growing up in a Christian home, Jason began singing Christian music at a very young age. His fondest memories include those times when the family gathered together harmonizing to the accompaniment of his father on ukulele. It was from these experiences that Jason recognized God was calling him to minister through a life of music.

At age 16, Jason began writing his own music, which reflected his own very eclectic musical tastes, with influences from pop/rock, contemporary, country, punk rock and classical. Through this early time of personal musical growth, Jason also nurtured his talents on both guitar and piano. He also went on to major in voice/vocal education at Central Missouri State University.

Jason Watson has been performing Christian music professionally since 1998, leading worship at several different churches and playing for various church functions. He has played a variety of styles of Christian music with many different groups over the years. His most committed endeavor has been with the praise and worship band Cross Section, for which he has been "front man" for the last five years. Jason has traveled with Cross Section in the Kansas City area and beyond to minister at many churches.

Trusting God to lead him in his passion of reaching others for Jesus, Jason has now stepped out with his solo career with the release of his debut CD entitled Flood My Soul, featuring Jason's original songs and heartfelt message of faith and truth.

As important as his music ministry is to him, Jason's family is where his heart truly lies. He and his wife Lori have been married since 1996 and have been blessed with two wonderful children. Jason and Lori share a passion for youth and have been youth pastors at their local congregation since shortly after their marriage. Jason's natural energy and enthusiasm have made him an effective youth leader and mentor.

Whether it's from his home congregation, his family, his dearly devoted fans or his Lord, Jason Watson has been blessed to receive more support, love, and encouragement then he could ever have imagined in sharing his music. Jason continues to minister God's truth in music and song, with a heart for reaching the world with God's message of hope, love and forgiveness.
